The Lido pool had fallen into disrepair. A major refurbishment was required and Kier were selected as the main contractor. The project required 3 pools to be installed (as well as work to all the buildings) and needed to be completed within 6 months. The refurbishment of the Lido combined elements of the original building, such as the 1920’s turnstiles and wooden cubicles, along side the best of modern technology with the stainless steel pools and advanced filtration.
