316 Stainless Steel – Perfect for the application
The outdoor hydrotherapy pool was completely manufactured in 316 Stainless Steel. Manufacturing an outdoor swimming pool using 316 grade stainless steel offers numerous benefits including durability, corrosion resistance, low maintenance, aesthetic appeal, and flexibility in design.
Stainless steel can be fabricated into various shapes and sizes, allowing for customised and unique pool designs. This flexibility opened up creative possibilities for the architects and designers involved in the project.
Stainless steel is recyclable and considered environmentally friendly compared to other pool construction materials like concrete or vinyl liners. Additionally Stainless steel is non-porous, making it resistant to bacteria growth and easy to clean. Both there properties were important to Eden Hall.
These advantages made stainless steel an excellent choice for the Eden Hall pool installation.
The full stainless steel floor was dimpled this provided a number of benefits. Dimpling on the stainless steel surface enhanced traction underfoot providing Class C slip resistance. With the dimples providing more contact points for feet, improving grip and reducing the risk of slips and falls.
The dimpled surfaces surfaces are easier to clean and maintain making them less likely to accumulate dirt or other contaminants that could make the floor even more slippery over time. Apart from safety benefits, dimpling added an aesthetic appeal to the pool area, providing a unique and modern look.

With an outdoor heated pool, a cover was essential. Wrightfield Pools designed and manufactured a pool cover case to house the automated slat cover. This allowed the pool to be covered in just a few minutes when not in use.
The pool cover helps retain the water temperature important when you have 120 m3 of water at 28 degrees. The cover helps to trap the heat from the water and reduce heat loss due to evaporation. This can significantly decrease the amount of energy needed to keep the pool at a comfortable temperature, thus lowering heating costs
Additionally the cover provides a safety feature when the pool preventing accidental access. Pool covers can look unattractive and Wrightfield Pools designed and manufactured the cover housing so that it wasn’t visible.
